The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) has transferred more than 14 thousand liters of petroleum products to the Committee on Emergency Situations and Civil Defense (CES) for disaster relief, according to the OSCE office's Facebook page.

In particular, rescuers received 9,800 liters of diesel fuel and 4,500 liters of petroleum products.

"The fuel will be used to refuel vehicles and emergency response equipment that are used to protect and evacuate the population to safe areas during natural disasters," the report says.

Work to eliminate the consequences of mudslides in the affected areas continues. According to the Emergency commission, 4.5 km of inter-village roads have been cleared, auxiliary premises have been completely cleared of dirt and rubble. Power transmission lines have been completely restored.

The Dushanbe-Varzob highway running through the territory of the village of Gusgarf has been cleared of the consequences of mudslides, clearing works are underway on the territory of the village of Gulbog-2 – mudslides are being cleared from the muddy mass.

Recall that as a result of the disaster on August 27-28, 21 people died in the country.
