On August 30, a government meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Head of the Republic Emomali Rahmon.

According to the press service of the head of state, the report of the Chairman of the Environmental Protection Committee Bahodur Sheralizoda on the implementation of the UN General Assembly resolution on the "International Year of Glacier Protection" was the first to be heard.

The Organizing Committee for the implementation of the resolution was instructed to take practical measures to implement the Action Plan for the implementation of the fifth initiative of the President of Tajikistan "On declaring 2025 the International Year of Glacier Protection" in due time. In particular, to hold an international conference in Dushanbe.

Then a number of draft laws were considered, including amendments and additions to the Tax Code, the laws "On the State Budget for 2023", "On Advocacy", "On Technology Park", "On Inventions", "On Road Traffic", "On Fire safety" and "On the Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan". All draft laws have been sent for discussion to the Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the country.

The government members also reviewed and discussed the State Program of Scientific and Innovative Development in Tajikistan for 2023-2027, the State Program of Reproductive Health for 2023-2027, the Medium-term Program for the Development of Productive Employment for 2023-2027 and the Medium-term program for the training of primary and secondary vocational education for 2023-2027.

Other instructions were given to the Government of the country and state structures to prepare for the autumn-winter period of 2023-2024, fuel supply, landscaping, environmental improvement, efficient use of arable land, sufficient reservation of agricultural products, a worthy celebration of Independence Day throughout the country, etc.
