The son of RTSU Rector involved in fatal traffic accident in which young gifted singer killed

Radio Liberty’s Tajik Service, known locally as Radio Ozodi, reported on September 22 that the 18-year-old Komyob Faizullo, the son of the rector of the Russian-Tajik Slavic University (RTSU) Mashrab Faizullo, was involved in a fatal traffic accident in which young gifted singer Nekrouz Niyozov was killed. 

The traffic accident involving two Lexus RX350 took place in Dushanbe near Bomi Jahon Restaurant on the night of September 21 at around 10:30 pm. 

According to official information, Komyob Faizullo accidently hit Nekrouz Niyozov with his car while he was standing on the side of the road.  Nekrouz died a few hours later in the hospital.

Meanwhile, the Dushanbe Police Directorate says Lexus RX350 (number plate 4800 CC 01) driven by Komyob Faizullo collided with Lexus RX350 (number plate 1981 WM 01) driven by the 19-year-old Oyatullo Akhtamzoda and then hit the 27-year-old Nekrouz Niyozov, who was standing on the side of the road. 

Nekrouz received various injuries and was taken to the Qariyai Bolo hospital, here died on the morning of September 22.  

The cause of the collision between the two cars has not been stated.  There was also no information about who took the victim to the hospital.
