The World Health Organization (WHO) describes situation at al-Shifa Hospital “a complete horror scene” and calls the destruction of Kamal Adwan Hospital “appalling”.

Hungry and desperate Palestinians are looting aid trucks to get water and food as desperation mounts in southern Gaza’s Rafah City, according to Al Jazeera.

Among the 25 people killed in the latest Israeli strike on the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza were 10 members of one family, grieving family members told Al Jazeera in an exclusive interview.

The Al Jazeera team was on-site at Nuseirat shortly after the overnight deadly strike.

An elderly and young man told Al Jazeera that members of the Abu Garqud family were just sitting inside their home when the bomb struck without warning.

The young man said his brothers and young nephews were among those killed.

Releifweb reports that according to Ministry of Health in the besieged Palestinian enclave, at least 18,787 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza between October 7 and December 14 afternoon.  About 70 percent are said to be women and children, and about 50,5897people were reportedly injured.

The revised death toll in Israel stands at nearly 1,140, according to Al Jazeera.
