From January 25 to 29, in the mountainous areas of districts of republican subordination, in the Sughd region, and in the western part of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO), there is a possibility of snow avalanches, according to the Hydrometeorological Center.

In connection with this, the Committee on Emergency Situations and Civil Defense under the government reminds citizens to limit travel on mountain roads unless necessary. The committee also advises refraining from agricultural work, livestock grazing, firewood harvesting, hunting, and fishing.

Drivers heading on mountain roads are recommended to obtain up-to-date information about the road conditions from relevant services. "For road safety, drive at a moderate speed, especially near schools, mountain passes, turns, and descents. On mountain roads, maintain a greater distance between vehicles, as the braking distance increases on slippery roads," advises the Committee on Emergency Situations.
