Three people were killed and two others injured on March 11 as a car fell off the road with a height of almost 800-900 meters, according to Emergencies Committee’s Office in Sughd province.  

The accident reportedly took place on the 147th kilometer of the Dushanbe-Chanak highway.

The driver reportedly lost control of his Opel-Zafira, and the car fell into a precipice 800-900 meters deep.    

The car reportedly caught fire when it hit the ground.  During the fall, trying to save themselves five people, including three men and two women, jumped out of the car.

Three of them, including one woman and two men, died and two others – one man and one woman – sustained various injuries and were taken to central district hospital in Ayni district.
