An international tennis tournament among teenagers for the President's Cup will be held in the capital of Tajikistan. The competition will take place from September 1-7 at the sports complex "Tennis Palace" ("Kasri Tennis") and will bring together participants from more than 15 countries around the world.

According to the "Asia-Plus" in the Tennis Federation of Tajikistan, the tournament will be held in two age categories: under 13 years old and 14-16 years old. The participants will compete in both individual and doubles games among boys and girls.

In accordance with international regulations, children under the age of 18 are not allowed to award cash prizes. Instead, valuable gifts such as laptops, tablets and phones have been prepared for the winners and prize-winners.

Athletes from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkmenistan, China, India and Iran, Canada, Romania, and South Korea have already confirmed their participation in the tournament. The Tajik Tennis Federation noted that the process of confirming the participation of athletes from other countries is currently underway.

Recall that the first International Tennis Tournament among teenagers for the Cup of the President of Tajikistan was held in 2005, and since 2021 it has been included in the calendar of competitions of the International Tennis Federation.
