On August 19, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the Mayor of Dushanbe, Rustam Emomali, commissioned a new building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic in Dushanbe.

The new 10storey building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been erected on an area of almost two hectares and is equipped with everything necessary for the activities of the police. It has 246 working and auxiliary rooms, a large conference hall with 346 seats, a small hall with 40 seats, a barracks with 290 beds, and a dining room for 178 people at a time. It also has a gym for training, as well as playgrounds for minifootball, volleyball and other sports.

Today, the head of state and the Chairman of Dushanbe opened a new building of the Shokhin special police unit of the capital's Ministry of Internal Affairs. It consists of a main building and three auxiliary buildings.

During the review, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan was informed that the new buildings meet all the requirements of the SPMU (Special Purpose Mobile Unit) service. In addition to classrooms, meeting rooms and conference rooms, they have classrooms and special training areas that are equipped with the necessary industry visual aids, various types of weapons, communications equipment, military uniforms, etc.

The building has a modern barracks, two spacious dining rooms, and a modern sports ground, where, in addition to hosting sports competitions, there is also the possibility of daily classes and training for the squad's employees. A drill ground and other auxiliary facilities have been built in the courtyard.

Emomali Rahmon was shown an exhibition of military equipment and equipment, which featured modern industrial devices and equipment. It was reported that the technical fleet of the detachment consists of modern military vehicles and other equipment that is in constant readiness. The Head of State handed over to the Shokhin detachment new vehicles necessary for their effective operation.
