The World Taekwondo Federation WT has published an updated world ranking, and it includes several representatives of Tajikistan who maintain positions among the strongest athletes in the world.

One of the key achievements was Munira Abdusalomova's entry into the top 25 of the world ranking among female athletes in the +67 kg weight category. She is ranked 23rd with 42.24 points. This result makes her one of the most promising participants in the upcoming international competitions, including the Olympic qualification tournaments.

In the 49 kg category, there is Shirinmokhi Mirshakarzoda, who is in 324th position (3.60 points). Despite her modest performance, the athlete is gradually gaining experience in the international arena, and participation in G2 and G4 tournaments can significantly improve her position.

Loikjoni Shukhratzod is showing the greatest progress in the men's national team. In the 58 kg weight category, he ranks 410th (3.60 points). Two more representatives of Tajikistan, Loik Davlatzoda and Farrukh Pahlavonov, share the 531st line of the world ranking in the 68 kg category, with 2.16 points each.

The rating of the World Taekwondo Federation is divided into two main categories: world and Olympic. The first includes eight weight categories for men and women, and the second includes four Olympic categories for each gender. The set of points directly depends on the athlete's performances at international tournaments. The higher the place and the higher the competition level, the more rating points are awarded.

Currently, the main goal of the national team is to participate in major tournaments of the G4 level and above, which can significantly improve their positions in the ranking.

Successful performances on international arenas will help increase the chances of obtaining Olympic licenses and enhance the prestige of Tajik taekwondo.
