Bezhan Abdulloyev, a 19-year-old racing driver from Dushanbe, secured another impressive victory at the FIA China Racing Karting Championship, held on October 12 in the Chinese city of Wuhan. Abdulloyev triumphed in all three final races, achieving a rare Grand Slam — a remarkable feat where a driver wins every race of the weekend.

Abdulloyev dominated the qualification rounds, securing the pole position before going on to win every final race in the GP MAX class, which featured 60 young drivers divided into three groups. His performance was flawless, both in qualification and in the finals.

"Today, I once again raised the flag of my homeland to the top of the podium. I don’t represent a team; I represent my country, my beloved Tajikistan. This victory is for Tajikistan, for everyone who believes in me and supports me. This gives me strength and inspires me for new achievements," Bezhan told Asia-Plus after the race.

Abdulloyev’s victory in Wuhan marks his third consecutive win, following his triumph in the first two rounds of the championship earlier this year. The young driver’s primary goal remains Formula 1, with a dream of participating and winning in the prestigious motorsport series.

Looking ahead

Abdulloyev is already preparing for his next race, set to take place in just one week.

"I will do everything to become the champion and bring the championship trophy home to Tajikistan," Abdulloyev declared.
