The number of mobile communication users reached 10.8 million people by October 1.

According to the data of State commission of radio frequencies of Uzbekistan, in September 2008 the number of mobile communication users increased on 679 thousand users (the increase was 6.65%), insight of mobile communication by October 2008 in Uzbekistan was 40.3%.

By the beginning of 2008 in Uzbekistan there were 5.8 million people and for 9 months this number increased on 4.9 million users (84.16%).
