DUSHANBE, March 26, 2013, Asia-Plus /Avaz Yuldoshev/ — The Interior Ministry’s office for Dushanbe has reported a large hashish haul.

According to the Interior Ministry’s website, Dushanbe resident Mansour Sanakov, 47, was arrested on suspicion of drug pushing on March 21.

Several packages of narcotic drug that tested positive to hashish weighing some 16 kilograms were confiscated from him.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained drug peddler and an investigation is under way, the source said.
