Analytical company Research and Markets published statistics of Asian mobile communication markets for last years in 34 courtiers, reported “IT World”.
In September 2007 in Asia there were 1.25 billion people using mobile communication. Last years development of marker decreased from 50% to 20-30% per year. In 2008 this index was 26%. But the penetration of services is 34% in region and it allows the further development of the market.
Now new countries have top places in the mobile communication development. These countries are Pakistan and Bangladesh, whose markets increased on 103% and 104%. Analytical firm also emphasized “Central Asian surprise” of dynamic development led by Turkmenistan (147%) and Uzbekistan (137%).
