DUSHANBE, June 10, 2013, Asia-Plus  — Representatives of the Dushanbe mayor’s office are studying experience of Russian and Belarusian cities in arrangement of green spaces and development of urban architecture, Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office, said.

“From June 11 to June 23, a delegation of the Dushanbe mayor’s office will visit the Russian cities of Moscow, Krasnodar and Sochi as well as the Belarusian capital Minsk to get acquainted with their experiences in arrangement of green spaces and development of modern urban architecture though using available opportunities,” Saidov said.

The delegation members reportedly included Mr. Bahrom Yusupov, member of the Dushanbe legislature (Majlis) also head of Tajik Architects’ Union, Mr. Qudratullo Fayzulloyev, head of the Dushanbe department for architecture and town building, Mr. Abdusattor Kholov, head of the Dushanbe landscape gardening department, and Ms. Gulbahor Davlatova, chairperson of the town building department at Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) “Shahrofar.”
