DUSHANBE, September 2, 2013, Asia-Plus – Leader of the ruling People’s Democratic Party, President Emamali Rahman, held a meeting of the Party’s Central Executive Committee, where the Party’s preparation for presidential elections and calling of the Party Congress were discussed.
The Head of the Propaganda and Analysis Center, Adham Mirsaidov, told Asia-Plus that Emamali Rahman during his speech called on PDPT members to abide by the law of the country and during the election campaign and to exercise the utmost political culture.
Mr. Mirsaidov said: “It was decided during the meeting to call the Party Congress on 4 October in Dushanbe, where the Party candidate will be determined.”
