Afghanistan seeks Tajikistan’s support for training of personnel

DUSHANBE, December 25, 2013, Asia-Plus – Nouriddin Saidov, Minister of Education and Science of Tajikistan yesterday met here with Ms. Amina Afzali, Minister of Labor, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled of Afghanistan.

They reportedly discussed issues related to training of personnel for Afghanistan at Tajik educational facilities.

Ms. Afzali noted that Afghanistan does not have enough centers for training skilled workers and it needs Tajikistan’s support for solving this issue, an official source at the Ministry of Education and Science (MoES) said.

For his part, Tajik minister informed her of procedures of obtaining education in Tajikistan and stressed that relevant ministries of the two countries could fruitfully cooperation in that area, the source added.
