DUSHANBE, August 21, 2008, Asia-Plus — A ceremony of signing of a document on making amendments, including allocation of additional funds, to the US-Tajik security cooperation agreement will be held in Dushanbe tomorrow, August 22.
According to the US Embassy in Dushanbe, this agreement also provides for measures to fight illicit drug trafficking and strengthen capacities of the Tajik law enforcement agencies.
The document will be inked by the US Ambassador to Tajikistan, Ms. Tracey Ann Jacobson, and Tajik Foreign Minister, Mr. Hamrokhon Zarifi.
