DUSHANBE, August 6, 2008, Asia-Plus  — Alexander Bortnikov, Director of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) arrived in Dushanbe today morning for a working visit.   

According to presidential press service, Bortnikov is scheduled to hold talks with President Emomali Rahmon today.  The FSB chief will also meet with Chairman of Tajikistan’s State Committee for National Security (GKNB) Khairddin Abdurahimov.

The talks are expected to focus on issues related to combating international terrorism, illicit drug trafficking and illegal migration, the press services said.
