DUSHANBE, April 9, 2014, Asia-Plus – The Russian Center for Science and Culture in Dushanbe will host an annual professional development workshop for teachers working with Russian-language schools abroad from April 21-22.

Organized by the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo)’s office in Dushanbe in cooperation with the Faculty of Philology of the Moscow-based National Research University “Higher School of Economics” (HSE) under financial support of Rossotrudnichestvo, the event is held within the framework of the federal target program “Russian Language” designed for 2011 – 2015.

The program reportedly provides for seminars on use of information technologies in teaching Russian language, work with multimedia aids and lectures in a Skype conference format.

During the seminar, teachers working with Russian-language schools in Tajikistan will be tested on knowledge of Russian language.
