U.S. President George W. Bush and Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will have a chance to have a word with each other during the Olympic Games in Beijing, Denis Wilder, and the National Security Council Senior Director for East Asian Affairs, told reporters on Wednesday.

He said that although President Bush didn’t plan to meet any foreign leaders in Beijing, it was possible will spend a few minutes in a friendly conversation.

President George W. Bush will arrive in Beijing next Wednesday and will stay in the Chinese capital till August 11. He will be present at the Olympic Games’ opening ceremony on August 8. He will also attend some sport competitions and hold meetings with Chinese President Hu Jintao, Vice-President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Wen Jibao.
