DUSHANBE, December 9, 2014, Asia-Plus — Nomination of candidates for the lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of the parliament (Majlisi Oli) from party lists (proportional representation) began on December 6 and will last until January 15, 2015, an official source at the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda (CCER) told Asia-Plus in an interview.
Nomination of candidates for the Majlisi Namoyandagon running in single-mandate constituencies will begin on December 30 and also will last until January 15.
Registration of parliamentary candidates will begin on January 15 and last until February 9, the source added.
