DUSHANBE, December 26, 2014, Asia-Plus — Tajik school students now may study for entering Altai State University (Russia) at the University’s representative center that has recently opened in Khujand, the capital of the Tajik northern Sughd province. 

The University has reportedly opened its representative center at Khujand Lyceum No 13 within the framework of the partnership network extension program.

Founded in 1973, Altai State University is a university in Barnaul, Russia.

Altai State University has the following departments: Biology; Geography; Journalism; Arts; History; Mathematics; Education; Political Science; Psychology; Sociology; Engineering; Philology; Chemistry; Economics, Management, and Information Systems; Law; Communication Studies; and a Department of Open Education.

The university reportedly has affiliates in Biysk, Belokurikha, Kamen-na-Obi, Rubtsovsk, Slavgorod, and Mikhaylovskoye, all in Altai Krai.
