President Rahmon receives credentials of five new ambassadors

DUSHANBE, March 10, 2015, Asia-Plus — Ten newly appointed ambassadors presented their credentials to Tajik President Emomali Rahmon on March 10.

According to the Tajik president’s official website, the new ambassadors include Hugh Stanley Philpott of the United Kingdom, Tariq Iqbal Soomro of Pakistan, Saud bin Ahmed bin Khalid al-Barwani of Oman, Fam Van Fao of Vietnam, and Ayalev Gobzie Vorkneh (phonetically spelled) of Ethiopia.

Tajik president reportedly congratulated the ambassadors on their appointment and expressed confidence that they would make contribution to expansion of cooperation of their countries with Tajikistan.
