DUSHANBE, April 17, 2015, Asia-Plus – On the occasion of the Tajik Capital City Day, fifteen new facilities will be put into commission in Dushanbe on April 18, according to the Dushanbe mayor’s office.

The first part of the “Diar Dushanbe” will also opens doors tomorrow.  Apartment building # 1 and administrative building # 1 will be put into commission tomorrow, an official source at the Dushanbe mayor’s office told Asia-Plus in an interview.

The “Diar Dushanbe” project, which is overseen by Qatari Diar – Tajikistan, a limited local company wholly-owned by Qatari Diar, was named the ‘Best Decorative’ architectural project in Tajikistan for 2011 by Tajikistan’s Agency for Construction and Architecture and the Association of Builders.

Meanwhile, the sixth international race dedicated to the Tajik Capital City will take place in Dushanbe tomorrow.

Representatives of a number of Dushanbe’s sister cities and partner cities are expected to participate in a half-marathon (21.092 kilometers) in Dushanbe tomorrow.

The Capital City Day is celebrated in Tajikistan on the third Saturday of April and this year, Dushanbe celebrates this event on April 18.
