DUSHANBE, April 28, Asia-Plus — The Kuwaiti Ambassador to Tajikistan, Mr. Aziz Rahim Al-Dehani, presented credentials to President Emomali Rahmon today morning.
Speaking to reporters after a meeting with President Rahmon, Kuwaiti Ambassador said that their talks had focused on state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral political and economic cooperation between Kuwait and Tajikistan.
Mr. Aziz Rahim Al-Dehani said he will take efforts to promote further expansion of cooperation between the two countries in varies fields.
According to him, a delegation of Kuwait’s Red Crescent Society will arrive in Tajikistan soon to discuss cooperation issues. Besides, Kuwaiti Fund is continuing to work out bilateral mutually beneficial projects.
On the specific directions of cooperation and attraction of foreign investments to Tajikistan, the Kuwaiti Ambassador noted that stable situation in Tajikistan gives an opportunity for working out projects and investing in the country’s economy, particularly in the road construction.
