Tajik officials prohibited from having ban accounts and real estate abroad

DUSHANBE, November 18, 2015, Asia-Plus — Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) on November 18 endorsed amendments proposed to the country’s public service law.

Speaking at the session, the head of the Public Service Agency, Jumakhon Davlatov, noted that the amendments provide for prohibiting Tajik officials from opening banks accounts abroad.

Besides, Tajik officials are also prohibited from having real estate in foreign countries, Davlatov noted.
