DUSHANBE, December 1, 2015, Asia-Plus – Four nationals of Tajikistan, including two young men and two young women, have been detained in Belarus for an attempt to illegally cross the Bug River into Poland.

reports four nationals of Tajikistan, including two young men and two young women aged 18 to 25, were detained on November 29 while illegally crossing the Bug River into Poland.
They reportedly tried to cross the border seeking better living conditions in the European Union. They hoped for assistance of their relatives living in Germany,

On the same day, three nationals of Georgia were detained without proper documents in the border area and a 42-year-old national of Uzbekistan was detained on November 28 while trying to illegally cross the border, according to

The Bug River or Western Bug is a major European river which flows through three countries with a total length of 830 kilometers.
A tributary of the Narew River, the Bug forms part of the border between Ukraine and Poland for 185 kilometers, and between Belarus and Poland for 178 kilometers.
