DUSHANBE, April 7, Asia-Plus  — On Sunday April 6, President Emomali Rahmon made an order requiring determining areas under each crop, presidential press service said.

In accordance with this order, the ministry of agriculture, the agency for land management, geodesy and cartography as well as local authorities of Gorno Badakhshan, provinces, cities and districts of the country should take adequate measures to ensure an effective use of agricultural lands and determine areas of irrigated lands under each agricultural crop for all farming units irrespective of forms of property within 20 days and submitted them for consideration to the government.  

Relevant ministries and organizations as well as local authorities in the provinces are to take measures to provide farming units with high-quality seeds, water and electrical power.
