Train loaded with Kazakh humanitarian aid arrives in Dushanbe

            DUSHANBE, March 4, Asia-Plus  – Three train cars loaded with Kazakh humanitarian aid arrived in Dushanbe yesterday, Lieutenant-Colonel Mahmadi Mehtojev, the deputy head of the Committee for emergency Situations (CES), told Asia-Plus Tuesday morning.    

According to him, the assistance included some 60 tons of foodstuffs and some 30 tons of warm clothes.  

            Besides, A plane with 2.5 tons of Spanish humanitarian aid on board landed at the Dushanbe airport Sunday evening. 

“A part of this assistance, which includes mainly generators and warm blankets, is intended for the population of Afghanistan,” the deputy head said, adding that Tajik emergency service will provide assistance with transporting this humanitarian cargo to Afghanistan.
