The current champion of Tajikistan in futsal Dushanbe "DISI Invest" may refuse to continue participating in the championship because of financial problems, said former vice-president of the club Nodirjon Dusmatov.

Vice President Nodirjon Dusmatov left his post after the unsuccessful performance of the team at the club championship in Asia.

"After the tournament, which took place in Ho Chi Minh City, where our team suffered three defeats, I decided to resign. Already now we can say that having worked in FC "DISI Invest", we have become the country's champions three times and took the Cup and the Super Cup of the country, and at the same time we have not suffered a single defeat within the country for three and a half years, "Dusmatov said.

In the Tajik futsal in the midst of the championship of the country, in which the first place for lost points is "DISI Invest".

"Now “DISI Invest” is on the verge of extinction, Dusmatov said. The general sponsor of the team cannot continue to sponsor the team because of the financial crisis, and the club actually remained without funding."

According to the former vice-president of the club, the leadership of FC "DISI Invest" managed to find finance for the performance in the Champions League of Asia in Vietnam, but after the tournament was notified to the players that they were not able to fulfill the contract obligations to the players.

Nodir Dusmatov claims to continue its performance in the regular republican championship, the club must solve all its problems before the end of August 2017. "Without additional support, this is not possible," said Dusmatov. In the current economic realities of our country, a professional sports club cannot survive on its own. In this regard, we ask the public to help in finding a sponsor for the futsal club "DISI Invest".

The team was founded in 2012 by enthusiasts called "Royal Pub". At that time, few could imagine that a truly professional club would grow out of the group of fans of mini-football, which has consistently become a prize-winner in the national championship for the last two years and is among the best teams in the country.

Its first trophy "DISI Invest", whose players were formed from local players, won in 2013. These were the bronze awards of the championship of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In the season 2014/2015, the current head coach Benyomin Ikboli from Iran came to the club. Under his leadership, an historic event for the Tajik futsal took place – The arrival of Iranian professional futsal players and the appearance in the Champions League of Asia.

The chairman of the futzal committee, Komron Shodiev, said that at present all clubs in Tajikistan are experiencing financial difficulties.
