DUSHANBE, September 20, Asia-Plus — The Tajik Security Council secretary Amirqul Azimov is attending a session of the council of the CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization) security council secretaries that opened in the Kyrgyz capital city of Bishkek today, Asia-Plus has learned at the Tajik Council of Security Council.

The source at the Tajik Council of Security said that the CSO security council secretaries are expected to consider issues related to creation of the antiterrorist committee of chiefs of special services and law enforcement agencies. 

Besides, the meeting members are considering establishment of councils for combating illegal migration and emergency situations as well as draft agreements on preferential terms of delivery of special equipment for providing the Organizations member nations’ power-wielding structures with them.  

The CSTO security council secretaries will also consider tendencies of development of military-political situation within the CSTO area, measures to address arising challenges and threats, as well as concert a package of documents on peacekeeping activity and a number of other draft documents.  

The session will also hear report by the CSTO secretary general Nikolay Bordyuzha and outline priorities of activity of the Organization in the second half-year of 2007 and the first half-year of 2008.
