Humanitarian aid provided by Uzbekistan to Tajikistan over the first two months of this year has been estimated  at 160,000 U.S. dollars.    

In all, thirty-four countries of the world have provided 13.43 million U.S. dollars’ worth of 5,559 tons of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan over the first two of this year, according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.

Over the report period, among donors countries the greatest share reportedly came from Russia – 18.2 percent; China – 3.6 percent; India – 1.7 percent; the United Arab Emirates (UAE) – 1.5 percent; Uzbekistan – 1.2 percent; Japan – 1.1 percent; Germany – 1.0 percent; the United States – 0.8 percent; and others.
