The culture festival of foreign students studying in Tajikistan is being held in Dushanbe today. 

Initiated by the Committee for Youth and Sports Affairs under the Government of Tajikistan, the event has reportedly brought together students from Afghanistan, China, Japan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, India, Turkmenistan, Russia and Turkey.

They will show their cultural programs, including songs and dances.  Tajik students are also participating in the festival, an official source at the Committee for Youth and Sports Affairs told Asia-Plus in an interview.   

The festival is being held at the Amphitheater of Dushanbe’s Park named after Abdulqosim Firdavsi.  The festival will start at 6:00 pm.

The festival is held in the framework of a Day of Youth of Tajikistan, which is celebrated on March 23.
