In Tajikistan, an average monthly nominal wage rose 11.1 percent in a year to March 31, 2019, reaching 1,364 somoni, according to the Agency for Statisitcs under the President of Tajikistan.  

Current minimum monthly wage in Tajikistan amounts to 400.00 somoni (equivalent to 42.00 U.S> dollars).

Compared to March last year, real wage in March this year reportedly rose 3.1 percent (inflation included).

The lowest average monthly wage in March this year was reported in the agrarian sector – 586 somoni (equivalent to 62.00 U.S. dollars),

The highest average monthly wage in March this year was reported in the financial sector – 3,247 somoni (equivalent to 344.00 U.S. dollars)

In the mining sector, an average monthly wage in March this year was estimated at 2,543 somoni (equivalent to 270.00 somoni).
