On Wednesday May 29, Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, Suhrob Olimzoda, met in Bishkek with Kyrgyzstan’s Prosecutor-General, Otkurbek Jamshitov.

According to the press center of the Prosecutor-General’s Office of Kyrgyzstan, the two discussed a number of issues related to legal collaboration between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan as well as interaction between the Prosecutor-General’s Offices of the two countries in protecting rights and interests of citizens, providing legal assistance in combating terrorism and extremism, and extraditing persons for criminal prosecution. 

At the end of the meeting, Jamshitov and Olimzoda pointed out a positive dynamic of expansion of cooperation between the two countries on issues being of mutual interest, the press center of Kyrgyz chief prosecutor’s office said.
