Twelve Tajiks have been quarantined in Uzbekistan.  They have arrived in Tashkent from Seoul, South Korea.  

Citing Uzbekistan’s Sanitary-Epidemiological Services, Kursiv.kz reports that Uzbekistan quarantined 253 air passengers arriving from Seoul on March 1.

These measures were reportedly taken by the Uzbek authorities in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus to the country as the coronavirus outbreak has been reported in South Korea.

Among those quarantined, 178 people are nationals of Uzbekistan, 20 nationals of Russia, 18 nationals f Kazakhstan, 12 nationals of Tajikistan, two nationals of Kyrgyzstan and one citizen of India.
