DUSHANBE, May 30, Asia-Plus – The government considered plan of actions on preparations for celebrations to mark the 1150th anniversary of the founder of Tajik-Persian literature Abu Abdullo Rudaki at a May 30 meeting presided over by President Emomali Rahmon.  

According to presidential press service, the president charged relevant bodies to revise the plan within the next 15 days with regard to the fact that the 1150th jubilee of Rudaki should be marked on an international level under the aegis of UNESCO.  

Besides, the meeting endorsed the seed-growing bill and passed a resolution on special zones and farming units for selection of agricultural crops.  

The government session also approved a public management system reform concept and adopted a resolution on providing local governments of settlements with registration books.  

The meeting also considered amendments to the laws on the national bank, status of members of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) and deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (the lower house of the Tajik parliament) as well as the country’s aerial code.  

President Rahmon also set tasks to provide implementation of documents on order of observing national traditions and rituals, creation of a public charity fund for the poor, publication of Koran in the Tajik language.
