DUSHANBE, March 26, Asia-Plus – A two-day scientific conference formally titled “Russia And Central Asia In Conditions of Geopolitical Transformation: The Foreign Policy Dimension” will be held at Russia-Tajik Slavic University in Dushanbe from March 28-29.  

According to the Russian Embassy in Dushanbe, Saymoumin Yatimov, First Deputy Foreign Minister, Saymoumin Yatimov, Irina, Karimova, Deputy Education Minister, Sayfullo Safarov, Deputy Director of the Center for Strategic Studies, Kseniya Borishpolits, Professor with Moscow State Institute of International Relations at Russia’s MFA, as well representatives from Tajik Academy of Sciences and a number of Dushanbe higher educational institutions will give papers at the conference on this subject.  

The source said that the conference staged by the RTSU Center for Geopolitical Studies under support of the Russian Embassy is dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and the Russian Federation
