DUSHANBE, February 19, Asia-Plus – Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev presided over a control meeting with participation of heads of relevant municipal services on February 19.

Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, said that the meeting had discussed issues related to passenger transport services and letters and applications of the city residents.  During the meeting it was noted that the mayor’s office will not consider anonymous letters and messages.  

The mayor also urged to tighten control of work of public transport in Dushanbe.  Municipal transportation services were charged to take efforts to improve sanitary and environmental protection situation in the capital city. 

The meeting also discussed a progress of preparations for the CIS summit that will be held in Dushanbe in October, according to the spokesman.
