DUSAHNBE, October 18, Asia-Plus – Museum located in the territory of Hissor Fortress has been robbed, according to the Ministry of Interior (MoI).

A source at a MoI said that robbers had seized more than 60 exhibits.  According to him, the incident took place on the nigh of October 14-15.

  Special team consisting of police officers is working in the scene; an investigation is under way.  

Museum containing more than 3,200 exhibits is placed in the building of old medrese in the territory of the Hissor Fortress, some 26 kilometers west of Dushanbe.
