Moscow multifunctional migration center deputy head visits southern Tajikistan

Date:

The deputy head of the Moscow Multifunctional Migration Center (MMC), Oleg Nuzhdin have visited Bokhtar, the capital of the Tajik southern province of Khatlon, recently.

He has reportedly met with Khatlon deputy governor Akram Sulaimonzoda to discuss cooperation issues.  The head of the MMC representative office in Tajikistan Abdusattor Nozimov and the head of Migration Service’s office in Khatlon province Bahodurjon Azizov attended the meeting.

In the course of the talks, Sulaimonzoda noted that opening of the MMC representative office in Tajikistan was a good sign in bilateral cooperation in the field of migration.

“We are interested in respecting the rights of our migrants in Russia and hope that your representative office in the country will contribute to this,” Khatlon deputy governor noted.

For his part, Nuzhdin said the purpose of the visit to this region of Tajikistan was for his to get to know its leadership and inform citizens of Tajikistan about the opening of the MMC representative office here.

“Tajik migrants will be able to contact our office and leave an application in the electronic database.  If Russian employers are interested in such specialists, we organize an online meeting of employer’s representative with migrants before travel to Russia,” Nuzhdin added.

The Moscow Multifunctional Migration Center launched a website for employers and foreign nationals wishing to be employed in Moscow and Moscow Oblast in November last year.  The website was launched to offer services on an organized recruitment of labor migrants.

With its help, labor migrants can receive online a comprehensive service on employment in Moscow and Moscow Oblast.  The service includes passing an interview for labor migrants and an opportunity for employers to find skilled specialists from among foreign nationals according to their settings.

The Moscow Multifunctional Migration Center also launched a mobile application thanks to which migrants can make an appointment at the Center in advance, pay for services on registration of a labor patent and pay it monthly, keeping the history of their payments in their smartphones.

The Moscow Multifunctional Migration Center provides services such as selecting citizens who want to work in Russia, assessing their professional qualifications, organizing interviews with employers, checking restrictions on entry into the Russian Federation and employment in Russia, advising on staying in Russia taking into account restrictions related to the pandemic, providing information about existing vacancies, etc.
