Russian media reports says Russian President Vladimir Putin has called for a careful approach to the situation with the influx of migrants into the country.

TASS reports that the moderator of the WEF session recalled the appearance in other countries of entire areas with migrants, and even the police cannot get into some of them. "We must keep this in mind and in no case allow such a development of events in our country, this is a very sensitive moment in the Russian state," the president said.

He reportedly further emphasized that number of migrants on the Russian labor market is now not so large in relation to the total number of working citizens – only 3.7 percent.

Earlier, the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to initiate a case because of the attack of migrants on a resident of St. Petersburg.

On August 25, a court arrested a migrant who attacked a girl in Nakhabin because of her shorts.
