Environmental inspection raids conducted in Dushanbe during the first ten days of this month have reportedly resulted in drawing up more than 500 protocols on administrative offences       

According to the press service of the Dushanbe Administration, 402 protocols have been drawn up for dirty vehicles, 96 other protocol have been drawn up for exceeding the standards for emissions of harmful gases into the atmosphere, and 10 protocols have been drawn up for transportation of soil materials without proper body covering. 

An official source within the Dushanbe Administration notes that many citizens do not comply with the established rules of public order, urban environment and sanitation regulations, and requirements of the environmental protection legislation.  

In this regard, explanatory work has reportedly been carried out with the population and drivers.
