To maintain the fruitful dialogue between Turkmenistan and the United Nations the international experts – UNDP Carbon Adviser Matt Spannagle and Officer for Central Asia of the UNDP Regional Office Dmitriy Golubovskiy came to Ashgabat on a regular visit. The aim of the visit – to consider the possibilities of launching the join projects in such an important field as reducing greenhouse gas emission.

The guests were received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the key ministries including the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Energy and Industry and the Ministry of Nature Protection. The perspectives of cooperation will be considered in detail during the meetings with the high-ranking officials of the fuel and energy organization departments.
