prosecutor Habibullo Vohidov has told Asia-Plus that Ms. Dehqonova was shot dead from pistol “Makarov” Tuesday [May 30] morning.  According to him, a 30-year-old son of Makhfirat Dehqonova has been arrested on suspicion of having committed this crime.  “The detainee confessed to the commitment of this crime,” said Vohidov, “At present investigators are considering two versions: he killed his mother following family quarrel or he request a large amount of money from his mother for paying his debt but his request was refused.”
