Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Oli (Tajik parliament), has told Asia-Plus that Tajik MPs paid a working visit to India by invitation of leader of Lok Sabha (India’s lower house of parliament) Somnath Chatterjee.   

According to Sultonov, during stay in India members of Tajik parliamentary delegation is scheduled to meet with the president, chairmen of both houses of Indian parliament, prime minister and familiarize themselves with activities of their Indian colleagues.
