, Muhammad Egamzod, press secretary of the Tajik Embassy, said.

In the meantime, Tajik citizen Nurullo Miraliyev, who was training in dried fruits on the market, says that no one of Tajik citizens trading on the Basmanny market was hurt when the roof of the market collapsed.           

Russian officials say some Russian media report that at least 56 people were killed when the snow-laden roof of a Russian market collapsed, officials say.  Dozens more shoppers and staff were hurt when the roof of the busy Basmanny food market fell in early on Thursday.  Officials believe thick, wet snow may have triggered the collapse. A criminal negligence probe has been opened.
