on fighting terrorism and extremism.   

According to information from presidential press service, the document is adopted for the purpose of raising efficiency of the fight against terrorism and extremism in accordance with the country’s legislation and international obligations assumed by


Tajikistan


.  

The Concept includes a system of views on the content, main directions and forms of the fight against terrorism and is dedicated to provide coordination of antiterrorist actions of the power-wielding structures, law enforcement agencies and finance control bodies, as well as to facilitate integration of them into regional and international and structures.  

Preventing and removing challenges and threats, providing safety of the republic and people staying on its territory have also been named among the main objectives of the concept, according to the source.
