DUSHANBE, November 1, 2010, Asia-Plus  — The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered a bill requiring amendments to this year’s national budget at a November 1 meeting presided over by the Majlisi Namoyandagon speaker, Shukurjon Zuhurov.

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board also considered amendments to the laws on state duties, fire safety and a number of other laws.

Some of these issues will be considered at a sitting of the second session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the fourth convocation that will take place on November 3.
