Dushanbe. June 21. “Asia-Plus” — An officer of Tajik border guards reported arrested on drug charges.

According to Tajik Ministry of Interior, Shodi Gulov, captain of border guard of the Tajik State National Security Committee, was arrested yesterday by the officers from the Counter-Narcotic Department of the Tajik Interior Ministry. Tajik border guard was arrested on the territory of Avesto jamoat of Kabodien region which borders Afghanistan.

According to the source, Gulov was arrested with more than 9kg of heroin packed in cellophane bag.

Criminal case has been launched, investigation is under way.
